Ms. Kamaxi Sambari

Assistant Professor of Law

She has been a meritorious student, completing her LLB (Hons) from this institution in 2004. She then earned an LLM specializing in Intellectual Property Rights and Alternative Dispute Resolution in the year 2009. She also has Masters Degrees in Human Resource Management and Psychology to her credit.

She joined this Institution as a visiting faculty in 2010 and has over 8 years of teaching experience. She has also been a guest faculty at the DTC’s Dempo College of Commerce and Economics in the subject of Business Laws for the academic year 2017-18. She was also invited as guest faculty to deliver lectures on subjects of Criminal Law (Indian Penal Code) and Criminal Procedure Code by INS Mandovi (Provost and Physical Training School) Indian Navy.

While as a student she represented the College at several National Moot Court Competitions, where she won accolades for her performance including the Best Research for Memorial Award. She has also participated in several State level seminars.

Over the past 8 years she has taught various subjects like Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Code, Law of Contract (Part–I), Law of Contract (Part–II), Family Laws, Banking laws, Intellectual Property Rights (including Trademark laws and Copyright Laws), Women and law, Criminology, Labour Laws, Interpretation of Statutes, Arbitration and Conciliation Act among others.

Her key areas of interest include the Indian Penal Laws, Criminal Procedure and Criminal and Victim Psychology.
